Johnson, Corbyn sing different tunes on Brexit2019|02:01
As fears of a no-deal Brexit grow, Boris Johnson called Monday for France and Germany to reopen Brexit negotiations. The British Prime Minister is due to visit Emmanuel Macron and Angela Merkel later this week, with Britain on course to leave the EU October 31st. Johnson's call coming a day after leaked official documents showed Britain could face fuel, food and medicine shortages shortly after leaving the EU without a deal - though that view was later challenged by the government as a 'worst case' scenario. The EU has said it is unwilling to reopen talks on the Withdrawal Agreement agreed in November last year.
