Australian state declares emergency over bushfires
2019|01:28Australia's raging bushfires have sparked a state of emergency in New South Wales on Thursday (December 19). That's where major city Sydney is located. Extreme heat and hard winds have fanned massive flames there. Aerial video showed houses on fire in the city's southwest. New South Wales is the country's most populated state. And over 100 wildfires are burning across it. State leader Gladys Berejiklian says the state of emergency will last seven days.
