Pandemic is 'one big wave,' not seasonal: WHO2020|00:55
The World Health Organization is warning against complacency about new coronavirus transmission in the northern hemisphere summer saying that this virus did not behave like influenza that tended to follow seasonal trends. WHO Spokeswoman, Margaret Harris. "People are still thinking about seasons. What we all need to get our heads around is this is a new virus and it is behaving, even though it is a respiratory virus, even though respiratory viruses in the past did tend to this different seasonal waves, this one is behaving differently. This one is we need… We have to be aware it is learning about us as we are learning it." Harris also warned against thinking in terms of virus waves, saying that instead "It's going to be one big wave.''
