INGREDIENTS: - ¼ lbs. of ground pork - 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic - 1 tablespoon of hot bean sauce - 1 tablespoon of soy sauce - 1 tablespoon of cooking wine - ½ teaspoon of sugar½ teaspoon of salt - 16oz of soft tofu - 1 cup of chicken broth - ½ teaspoon of sichuan peppercorn powder - 1 teaspoon of hot pepper powder - 1 chopped scallion METHOD: 1. Add ground pork into large mixing bowl. Add ground garlic, bean sauce, soy sauce, cooking wine, sugar, and salt. Cut soft tofu into small cubes, add to bowl. 2. Heat medium wok or frying pan with oil to medium-high heat. Add pork + tofu mixture and 1 cup of chicken broth. Cover and cook for 3 minutes. Add sichuan peppercorn powder and hot pepper powder, gently stir. Thicken sauce with cornstarch liquid (1 tablespoon cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water, stir well) mix gently. Plate, add garnish of chopped scallions, and enjoy!
