What can we deduce about people from the spaces in which they live and the objects that surround them? What sounds breathe life into and exist within those spaces? In one continuous shot, our journey begins in a garden and moves through a New Zealand home on a hot summer's afternoon. A kitchen, a bathroom, a study, each seemingly empty space has a life of it’s own. Whilst experiencing this, viewers can piece together clues as to whom the residents may be? Utilising sounds recorded exclusively from the location, Andrew creates an intimate and mindful experience that initiates contemplation about what humans have in their homes, our perceptions, and both the natural and man-made symphony that surrounds us.
