Drone captures church perched atop 40m Katskhi pillar01:02
Drone footage captured a remote, ancient church perched on top of the Katskhi pillar, a natural limestone monolith that stands 40 metres tall. The church is believed to have been built in the 6th to 8th centuries. The Katskhi complex is quite popular with tourists. However, only monks are allowed to climb to the top of the pillar via a steel ladder.
