Loco is the story of AgLoco®, a Canterbury based start up that is vying to bring sustainable steam powered tractors back to the farm and take the diesel out of food. Loco follows its journey, from co-founder Sam Mackwell’s backyard experiments to the inclusion of Sam’s new business partner and mentor Philip Royds, who is leading the company's progression into agricultural machinery. The tractor they are engineering could play a vital role in feeding the world beyond fossil fuels and building a sustainable future. Filmed, produced and directed by William Bowden, a Masters Student in Science Communication at the University of Otago.
