P-TECH was co-created by IBM in 2011, it started in the Broncs of NY and is now in 28 countries around the world with 1000 of students going through the program every year. P-TECH or Pathways in Technology, focuses on developing work ready students with the technical and professional skills required to successfully navigate their pathway. The program links students to the world of work and entry level roles by industry providing a range of opportunities for students to see what their potential career looks and feels like. The program also focuses on supporting Māori and Pacific who are under represented in the Technology sector.
