The eight-part series follows the life of Oli-Alainu'uese; who lives in Flaxmere – one of the most deprived areas in Hastings – and his client base of primarily Māori and Pasifika men. Each episode centres around different people, including the barbers working the floor and those they're serving. It explores their lives and world.
