Peleti Oli-Alainu'uese's barber shop in Hawke's Bay is the subject of Māori Television's new online docu-series, The Barber, and the series is now available to watch on here on Play Stuff. The eight-part series follows the life of Oli-Alainu'uese; who lives in Flaxmere – one of the most deprived areas in Hastings – and his client base of primarily Māori and Pasifika men. Each episode centres around different people, including the barbers working the floor and those they're serving. It explores their lives and world.
